Academic Advisor of Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, Academician Valentin Parmon Given the Highest Award of Mongolian Academy of Sciences

On April 6, in Irkutsk the Academic Advisor of Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, Chair of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Valentin PARMON was given the highest award of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the Kublai Khan medal.

The high prize was awarded to Valentin Parmon for his contribution into the development of the world science and technology and on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of establishment and development of scientific organization in Mongolia and 60th anniversary of foundation of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.

“Let me congratulate you with this well-deserved award and wish you further success in your scientific and organizational activity. I have no doubts that the traditional academic collaboration between our organizations will grow wider and deeper both in 2022 and further”, noted the President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences Duger Regdel in his letter.

Information: “Kublai Khan” gold medal, the highest award of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, is awarded to accomplished Mongolian and foreign scientists who worked more than 20 years in their field of expertise and made a valuable contribution into the development of science, technology, and innovations. The medal is named in the name of grandson of Genghis Khan, who, as mentioned in historic books, organized the Institute of Scientists of Mongolian Writing at his court. Later the Institute became the first model of scientific organization in Mongolia.
