Glass-Fiber Catalysts (GFC)

New type catalytic systems for treatment of industrial waste gases to remove carbon monoxide and volatile organic compounds (VOC), cleaning of olefins and diolefins from admixtures of acetylenes, utilization of a variety of organic chlorides and dioxins, oxidation of sulfur dioxide, etc.

The catalysts are highly active both to the oxidation and hydrogenation of impurities.

Advantages
A low content of noble metals (0.01–0.02 wt % of platinum, palladium etc.)
Low pressure drop through the catalyst bed
High resistance to poisoning
Flexibility to arrange structured beds of any shape

State-of-the-art
The catalysts are commercially produced and used for cleaning different industrial waste gases in Russia.
