Department of Unconventional Catalytic Processes

In the Department, research efforts are mainly aimed at the development and examination of catalysts and catalytic processes for non-traditional application areas including the following:

• The processes under the strong physical impact such as ionizing, microwave and light radiation;
• Conversion and accumulation of various types of energy;
• Catalysis and photocatalysis in nature;
• Utilization of renewable and non-traditional energy resources;
• Elucidation of the role of abiogenic catalytic and photocatalyitic processes in the formation of the Earth atmosphere and biosphere origin.
